Garden Landscaping
Quality garden landscaping that’s built to last
Our specialism for hard landscaping is an approach that leans into planted material as living ecosystems rather than purely static scenery. Our hard landscaped gardens are built around plant life for a dynamic, sustainable alternative to bare, purely hard-edged garden spaces. Greener, biodiverse outdoor spaces are increasingly valued by property buyers seeking sustainable living environments.
Our comprehensive approach to hard landscaping ensures seamless integration of your garden and property with high-quality workmanship. We deploy our build services using a highly skilled and specialist professional landscapers, groundsmen, carpenters, electricians, and bricklayers. Our senior team work with a diverse skillset, relentless eye for detail and a work ethic to match.
Building a small basic garden (under 100m2) costs between £15,000 and £30,000; and a medium garden (100-600m2) between £30,000 and £100,000, inclusive of planting and VAT.
A tasteful design and detailed technical build with wow-factor can increase property value by 5-12%, especially if outdoor kitchens, split levels and stunning planting is done with style.
We didn’t know where to start with our sea of mud and weeds new build plot. Zoe translated our requirements and ideas into a wonderful design. Reassuringly she managed her respectful, competent, hardworking skilled team to complete our transformation in 11 days! Great follow up and after service. Competitively priced, lovely to work with and highly recommended. Rare to be able to say this.

Some pointers to manage costs and expectations
Having a garden design sets the game plan for change and helps bring cohesion to the overall investment.
Garden landscaping utilises the same materials, labour and government regulations as house building, so is often more expensive than people think.
Utilising the land topography naturally, without adding or removing earth, or building retaining walls, split levels or sunken areas are most cost effective.
Straight lines and simple structures are more cost effective than curves, asymmetrical and complex interlocked designs.
Hard landscaping is more costly than soft landscaping.
A tricky site with restricted access and limited parking means heavy machinery is limited and materials have to be hand/ crane transported, which is costly.
The more costly items are often what gives a garden presence, even if blended in with more cost conscious considerations. Changes in levels, brickwork, stunning lighting, designer materials, carefully selected planting and beautifully built structures are most desirable. Even just one of these aspects can help elevate a new garden build beyond the ordinary.
