At Hortus Pink Landscapes, our commitment to your garden health and vitality, means we offer flexible maintenance packages tailored to keep your newly planted garden and hard landscaping looking their best year-round. Whether you prefer fully managed services in Tendring and Colchester districts or DIY support and plant installation across Essex and Suffolk, we provide ongoing advice and support to ensure your garden thrives.

Our services include skilled plant care, seasonal pruning, ad hoc plant selection, and general garden upkeep, all priced at competitive hourly rates. Let us help you maintain a beautiful and healthy garden that enhances your outdoor living experience.

Nurturing your garden into something beautiful

Garden Maintenance Services

If you feel overwhelmed about what to do and when, you can work alongside us to learn and be part of the process. Our education services are designed to help you take more control of your garden, feel inspired and develop your own green fingers. We also provide free WhatsApp problem solving for existing clients.

We utilise expert tree surgeon (arborist) services and can schedule their visits for you alongside our own. We are a registered waste carrier and can remove all waste (charged by weight) if your own garden bins are insufficient.

All our visits have a 2 hour minimum, but you can book us flexibly, with visits ranging from weekly to even just a spring/ autumn cut back and tidy. Available in:

  • Tendring District (Clacton/Holland, Frinton/Walton, Harwich/Manningtree/Mistley, Brightlingsea/Great Bentley, Elmstead/Ardleigh, St Osyth).

  • Colchester District (Wivenhoe, Colchester Town, Dedham, Langham, West Bergholt, Fordham, Horkesley, Earls/Wakes Colne, Marks/Great Tey).

General maintenance services (basic regular tasks) at £30 per hour. Min 2 hrs per visit, flexible attendance based on budget/ garden needs.

This is our standard service that manages basic garden needs and covers all aspects of general maintenance, including:

  • LAWNS: Regular mowing/ edging/ scarifying/ weeding/ feeding.

  • BORDERS: Weeding and digging borders and adding manure, dead-heading and tidying, removal of dead plants.

  • TREATMENTS: Time spent applying products (product costs added on top of time spent) for pest control, feeding, weedkiller, drive and patio anti-greening/ jet-washing/ sanding/ sealing of hard landscaping surfaces, painting sheds/fences/pergola’s.

  • WATERING: Of lawns, pots and borders.

  • LIGHT CUTTING BACK: Basic seasonal dead growth trimming and basic hedge trimming.

  • LEAF CLEARANCE: Leaf blowing and clearing up.

Specialist plant services (infrequent specialist tasks) £20 per 30 mins. Blended into the above maintenance min of 2 hr visit, where needed (usually spring and/or autumn).

This covers ad-hoc specialist plant knowledge that takes years to build and is designed to cost-effectively improve existing borders, including:

  • SEASONAL SPECIALIST PRUNING: Whereby plants are reshaped to improve their overall health and visual appeal within the border.

  • PLANTED BORDER IMPROVEMENT: Ad-hoc border assessment and infill recommendations (plant sourcing/ selection and installation), relocating plants in the wrong position and garden problem solving.
