Design brief:
The design was to maintain a semi open aspect with plenty of full sun.
Some increased privacy along the north-westerly boundary is ideal and to keep a small viewpoint down the garden and across fields.
The design style is classic with a contemporary twist.
The garden must rejuvenate with natural planting in colours that are soft and classic. There are plenty of options for entertaining family from two patios.
A mixture of curves and asymmetric shapes with lines of sight were favourable.
A mound was desired, along with silver birch trees.
The garden was to carefully balance the percentage of lower maintenance areas with planted borders and lots of lawn.
